16”: Very flat. Excellent for lead work, low action setups, and fast playing styles. Preferred by shredders and metal players.
Compound 9.5–14” / 12–16”: Starts rounder near the nut and gradually flattens toward the higher frets. Provides both comfortable chording and smooth bending higher up the neck. A best-of-both-worlds option.
